 Day 01 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) takes about 35 minutes. Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) which takes approximately three hours.
You begin today trek from Lukla following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi river. Nupla (5885m) can be seen in the distance on the opposite bank, is a peak atop the Kongde Ridge. You descend a mountainside path that merges into your route to Everest, with views to a valley to your right and at its far end, Kusum Kang (6367m.) The Dudh Kosi approaches as you pass a Mani wall and arrive at Ghat teahouse. You continue along a small path with many climbs and descents following the left bank of Dudh Koshi to Phakding. Stay over night at lodge.

 Day 02 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) which takes about 5 to 5 and half hours. This day you trek and cross the river on high suspension bridges. Beyond Monjo(2800m.) is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up to protect and preserve this fragile mountain environment. You then ascend quite steeply to Namche and along the way, if the weather is clear, catch a first glimpse of Mt Everest in the distance. You can also enjoy the view of Mt. Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache peak. You can also visit some of the village monasteries on the way of trekking to Namche Bazaar(3440 m.). Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 03 Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization and excursion around the places. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. For the acclimatization you walk upto Khunde hospital which was set-up by Sir Edmund Hillary or a one hour walk up to the Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for the outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse,Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Stay overnight at lodge

 Day 04 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame (3739m) takes about 4 hours. From Namche the route heads towards west and the trail is almost level as you head up the Bhote Koshi Valley, once a popular trading route into Tibet. After descending to the Bhote Kosi the trail climbs steeply to Thame. From here there are good views of the peaks of Teng Kangpoche and Kwangde and to the north is the Nangpa La, the pass leading to Tibet. Thame Gompa is situated above the village overlooking the valley and is the site for the spring celebrations of the Mani Rimdu festival. Stay overnight at lodge

 Day 05 Trek from Thame to Khumjung [3790m] takes about 5 hours. You retrace your route down the Bhote Kosi Valley towards Namche and branch off to follow a quiet trail to Khumjung. It is a picturesque village which also has its own Gompa at the top end of town. Here you can have excellent views of Thamserku, Kantega and Ama Dablam. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 06 Trek from Khumjung to Dole (4040m) which takes about 5 hours. Soon after leaving Khumjung the trail climbs to a large chorten on top of a ridge. This ridge descends from Khumbila, a 5734m peak, said to be the abode of the patron God of the Khumbu region. The trail descends slightly towards the Sanasa and then trail ascends up to Mongla(4000m.). From here, you can see panoramic views of various mountains. You trek steeply descend passing through Phortse Tenga and from there, the trail climbs steeply to Dole, through rhododendron and birch forest festooned with hanging mosses and lichens. You can enjoy delicious meal at Phortse Tenga (3650m.). Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 07 Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4410m) takes about 3 hours. From Dole you climb steadily along the side of the valley, where the small and thorny bushes give way to scrub juniper as the altitude increases. The trail passes many summer settlements. Ahead of you are excellent views of Cho Oyu, while back down the valley you can view the peaks of Kantega and Thamserku. This is a short day and you will arrive at Machhermo in time for lunch. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 08 Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo (4750m) which takes about 4 hours. Today you head for the lakes at Gokyo. You follow a very scenic path to Pangka and then descend slightly, following one of the melt-water Rivers which flow down the west side of the Ngozumpa Glacier. You climb a steep rocky path inclined into the valley by the side of the glacier, passing the first of the holy lakes. You soon arrive at the second of the lakes, crossing the path which heads across the glacier to Cho La (5420m.) - your route to Lobuche and Everest, later in the trek. The third lake is known as Dudh Pokhari and on its eastern shore is the settlement of Gokyo. Walking by the side of the lake, the scenery is magnificent with the summits of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang reflected in its emerald green waters. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09 Rest day at Gokyo and excursion in and around Gokyo valley. Gokyo is a trade centre where the Sherpa people run lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers.Gokyo is situated by the side of Ngozumba glacier, the biggest glacier of Nepal. This day you can make a side trip to Firth Lake via Forth Lake. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 10 Trek/climb from Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5340m) and trek back to Thangna (4650m) via Gokyo village takes about four and half hours. Gokyo RI looms above the village on the northern edge of the lake and you leave camp just after first light, following a steep path up the hillside. As you climb, the summits of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu slowly come into sight and the view from the summit of Gokyo Ri itself, is one of the finest to be had in the Everest region - some say it is even better than that from Kala Patthar. After lunch it is a short walk to the village of Thangna, situated at the shore of the Ngozumpa Glacier. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 11 Trek from Thangna to Dzongla (4843m.) via Chola pass (5420m.) takes about 5 and half hours. Now you ascend slightly along the valley towards Chola pass. The Chola pass is most of the time covered with blue ice giving you a chill feeling. Here you can also enjoy the panoramic view of various mountains. From here, the trail descends steeply down for an hour and then slightly descends all the way to Dzongla. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 12 Trek from Dzonglo to Gorakshep (5180m.) via Lobuche which takes about 5 hours. From Dzongla the trail descends and ascends gently and contours around the west side of the Lobuche Khola, providing excellent views of Ama Dablam, the Nuptse-Lhotse wall and Everest. The trail coming from Pheriche meets at the Lobuche Khola (Lobuche Stream). Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 13 Trek from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp (5337m.) and back to Gorakshep which takes about 4 and half hours. While trekking to Everest Base Camp you pass through a trail, which weaves its way through ice pinnacles and past the crevasses of the Khumbu Glacier. During the spring season, you can meet some expedition team on the Everest Base Camp. The number of team is less in the autumn season. On the return leg, you can take a higher route to get a spectacular view of the Khumbu icefall and numerous mountains. You return to Gorak Shep to stay overnight.

 Day 14 Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4250m.) takes about 6 and half hours. Early morning climb to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and enjoy the view of sunrise. From Kala Patthar you can have a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more. Yaks are normally regarded as the porters in this area. The town of Pheriche is known as windy town. There you can see the perpendicular walls of Cholatse and Tawache. There is located Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post and foreign volunteer doctors are to provide medical treatment to trekkers as well as local people. Stay over night at lodge.

 Day 15 Trek from Pheriche to Tyangboche (3850m.) takes about 4 hours. To reach Tyangboche you pass through Pangboche village, which is known to have highest permanent settlement throughout the year in Khumbu region. Upon your arrival at Tyangboche village you come across the famous legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. There is a trekker's visiting centre where local Sherpas make an exhibition of different goods to be sold to interested trekkers. They also show a slide presentation about Sherpa people, culture, Buddhist religion and environmental development programs. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 16 Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) which takes about 4 hours. From Tyangboche, the trail descends steeply and slightly towards Phunki Tenga (3250m.) crossing the Dudh Koshi. Now you have a glimpse of panoramic views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Passing by several villages and numerous teashops, the trail ascends steeply to Sanasa where local Sherpa people sell the Tibetan goods. Stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 17 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.) takes about six hours. The last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.

 Day 18 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes.

Annapurna Circuit treks with Funny Staff

Annapurna Circuit Trek: Max elevation 5416 M:

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and drive to Hotel, welcome dinner with culture program
Day 02: Visit world heritage sites at Kathmandu (Pashupati, Boudha, Swyabhu, Patan & Kathmandu)
Day 03: Kathmandu - Besishahar (approx 7 hrs drive) Drive Kathmandu to Besisahar (790 M) will be approx 7 hrs. seenic drive by bus whilst if you are taking private transport you may save about one and half hour. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 04: Besishahar - Bahundanda (1310 M)
This day our journey starts at Besisahar, from where the trails maked the climb to Khudi at 790 m, we then reach the first gurung village. As we continue the trek from Khudi the trail offers fine views of Himalchuli and peak 29 (Ngadi Chuli). Itt climbs to Bhulbhule at the 825 m, it then goes to Ngadi before reaching Lampata at 1135 m and nearby Bhaundanda at 1310 m. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 05: Bahundanda - Chamje (1500m) Today the trail drops steeply to Syange at 1070 m from Bahundanda crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge. We then follow the rivet to the stone village of Jagat before climbing through to Chamje at 1400 M. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 06: Chamje - Bagar Chap 2160 M The day begins with the rocky trail following the Marsynagdi River steadily uphill to Tal at 1675 M, the first village in the Manang district. We make a trailverse crossing a wide flat valley. The trail then climbs a stone stairway to 1860 M till another stairway. The journey continues making up and down to Dharapani at 1890 M. there we find a stone entrance chorten typical of the Tibetan influenced villages from here northwards. We then visit the Bagarchhap at 2160 M that offers the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans design although the village which is still in the transition Zone before the dry highlands. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 07: Bagar Chap - Chame 2630 M With often rock and rocky, the trail climbs to Tyanja at 2360 M and then continues through forest, but near the river to Kopar at 2590 M. As we reach the Chame, the headquater of the Manang district, we are rewarded bye the fine views of Annapurna II as you approach Chame you can enjoy two hot springs by the town. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 08: Chame - Pisang 3300 M              Today we starts through deep forest and steep narrow valley, crosses a river on a long bridge at 2910 M. We then cross another bridge at 3040 M from there the view of the soaring Paungda Danda rock face really begins to appear. From there the trail joins to climb to Pisan, which sprawls between 3200 m and 3300 M. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 09: Pisang - Manang 3500 M    Today we continue through the drier upper part of the Manang district, cut off from the full effect of the monsoon by the Annapurna range. People of this region, herd Yaks and raise crops for part of the year besides, they also continue to enjoy special trading rights gainded way back in 1784.     Leaving Pisang, we have an alternate trails north and south of the Marshyangdi river which meet up again at Mungji. The southern route by Hongde, with its airstrip, at 3325 M involves less climbing than the northern route via Ghyaru, through there are better views on the trail that follows the northern bank of the river. From Mungji, the trail continues past the picturesque but partially hidden village of Braga at 3475 M to nearby Manang at 3500 M. overnight at lodge on full board.  Day 10: Manang rest for acclimatization. Visit the surroundings.  Today we spend a day acclimatizing in Manang. The whole day we spend by doing some fine day walks and overviewing the magnificent views around the village and the day time is best to gain altitude. At the end of the day, we return back to our lodge and have night rest. overnight at lodge on full board. Day 11: Manang - Ledar 4250 M This day we leav Manang & the trail makes as ascent of nearly 2000 M to the Thorung La pass. We make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marsyangdi valley. continuing along the Jarsang Khola valley we reach Ledar at 4250 M, there we see the vegetation steadily more sparse. overnight at lodge on full board.   Day 12: Yak Kharka - Thorung Phedi or High Camp 4600 M The trail descends to cross the river at 4310 M we then climb up to phedi at 4420 M. At high camp on the elevation of 4600 M, we can recently found some good guest house built. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 13: Thorung Phedi or High Camp – Thorung Pass - Muktinath 3710 M The journey from the Phedi "foot of the hill" or at the foot to the 5416 m Thorung La pass, begins the day. We then make the climb steeply that is regularly used and easy to follow. However, the problem may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes terrible problem to cross the pass if it is covered by snow. About four hours climb to the pass marked by the chortens and prayer flags. As you reach the top. You are rewarded by the magnificent view from the top. overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 14: Muktinath -Jomsom  After crossing high pass of 5416 m now we are stepping down to lower elevations. Your muscle may feel pain full and we are taking way down to kagbeni for the first day which is the boarder of Upper Mustang and Lower Mustang. Continue downhill to Jomsom and overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 15: Jomsom – Pokhara (Flight) overnight hotel with breakfast
Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu and overnight at hotel with breakfast
Day 17: Final departure to airport

    Everest base camp and Island Peak

    Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu & Transfer to HotelDay 02: Full day guided sightseeing inside the Kathmandu valley. Join us for the welcome dinner at evening. Hotel OvernightDay 03: Flight: Kathmandu (1,310m) - Lukla (2,840m). Trek to Phakding (2,610m). (2-3 hours).Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Lukla. The flight into Lukla is a lifetime experience, in itself.  The airfield is on a slope and the difference between the two ends of the runway is about 60 meters! 
    Meet with your sirdar (Trekking Guide) and the rest of the crew. You will need to identify your luggage, which is to be made into loads, and then while you have lunch your crew will load these onto pack animals or get it ready for your team of porters. After lunch, trek for a few hours along the Dudh Kosi River to the village of Phakding 2,610 m  over night at Lodge overnight.Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche (3,440m) (5-6 hrs).The trail continues north up the Dudh Kosi valley to Jorsale, where the trail officially enters the Sagarmatha National Park.  There is an entrance station just beyond the village where trekking permits are checked and National Park fees collected.  Continue along the trail, crossing the Bhote Kosi River to begin the steep climb up to Namche Bazaar 3,440m the administrative centre of the Sagarmatha National Park and the hub of Sherpa society.  Remember to look out for glimpses of Mt. Everest from the trail on the way to Everest! Overnight the Lodge.Day 05: Rest day at Namche for acclimatization.You will explore the surrounding of Namche this day, Namche Bazar Rest and acclimatization. Namche is the famous picturesque Sherpa village and we have rest in the afternoon to enjoy walking round the village and visiting the Sherpa museum. Overnight  Lodge.Day 06: Trek Namche to Tengboche (3,860m) (5 hrs).Tengboche Monastery (3,860m) 5hrs walk. We walk with beautiful view under the soaring peaks of Thamserku and steadily descend to the Imja Khola and lunch at Phunki along a very pleasant trail. Here in Phunki, we see series of water driven prayer wheels. After lunch 2 hrs ascent will take us to Tengboche Monastery (3,860m) surely is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Overnight Lodge.Day 07: Trek Tengboche to Pheriche (4,312m) (5 hrs).Pheriche (4,260m) 5 hrs walk. We move forward up to Imja Khola valley Pangboche (3,900m) and lunch. After lunch we visit the Monastery and look at the Yeti scalp. We again move to the summer village of Pheriche (4,260m). Superb scenery at all time. Overnight Lodge.Day 08: Trek Pheriche to Lobuche (4,920m) (4-5 hrs).Lobuche (4,920m) 4 hrs walk. We move up a small ridge and contour around the base of Khumbu Glacier and lunch at Dhugla (4,600m). After lunch, we take a steep ascent to the terminal moraine of the glacier from where the views are stunning. We continue again along the moraine and camp at the foot off the Lobuche Ice Fall (4,930m). Overnight Lodge.Day 09: Trek Lobuche  to Gorakshep (5,140m) (4 hrs).The actual distance is not so far for this day but we wake up in the early morning and move forward to Gorek Sherpa where we take a rest.Day 10: Hike up to Kalapatthar / Everest Base Camp / Retrace your steps to Lobuche (4,920m) (8 hrs).This day, we climb Kala Patthar. From here we have a steep ascent up to the top of the Kala Patthar top. The actual distance is not so far but we take it very slowly to make up for the altitude. This top (5,545m) is a hard pull but the view from the top surpasses anything you can imagine. All around us flows, huge glaciers and the creaking of the mobile glacier ice only disturbs the silence of these altitudes. The mountains of Pumori (7,145m), Lingtren (6,697m) and Khumbutse (6,623m) separate us from Tibet and just over the Lho La pass we see the huge rock of Changtse (7,750m) in Tibet itself. But Sagarmatha, or Mt. Everest the queen of them all towers over everyone. This is the roof of the world. Continue to the Everest Base Camp. We return at Lobuche for the stay overnight.Day 11: Trek to Chhukung (4730m / 7 hrs) Trek east from Dingboche into the Chhukhung Valley. Chhukhung (4730 m) lies directly under an incredible rock wall that links Nuptse with Lhotse.  From here you will also have magnificent views of Amadablam (6856 m.), probably the most photographed mountain in Nepal.Day 12: Island Peak Base Camp (4 hrs)Trek along the Imja Khola to Pareshaya Gyab, a pleasant site by a small lake with fine views of the Lhotse Glacier and Nuptse-Lhotse wall. You will reach the Base Camp of Imja Tse today.  Once camp has been set up you will be free to get your climbing gear in order and get organised for your ascent of the peak tomorrow, weather permitting. 
    Day 13: Summit Island Peak (6160m) 
    Weather permitting, you will begin your climb today. The day's climb will continue through high camp on a col. at 5,700 meters. You will start early for the summit. The going gets difficult once you reach the bottom of the steep icefall below the summit. Great care and caution must be exercised while scaling the wall to emerge on the ridge leading to the summit. After the summit, descend  to the Base Camp. 
    Day 14: Extra Day / Summit / Return to Chhukung (4730m).
    We keep this day extra just in case weather or any condition will change the summit plan early on. Return back to Chhukung 
    Day 15: Trek to Namche (3,440m) (4 hrs).The trail descends steeply and another steep climb to Namche Bazaar. Camp or Lodge OvernightDay 16: Trek Namche to Phakding (2,610m). (3-4 hours).Down along the gorge of the Dudh Kosi to the small village of Phakding. Overnight Camp or Lodge. Day 17: Phakding to Lukla (2,840m) (3 hrs).
    Trek further to the mountain airstrip at Lukla to catch your return flight to Kathmandu. Weather permitting your trekking crew might prepare a farewell treat for you. You would be expected to join in the singing and the dancing! Overnight Camp or Lodge at Lukla.
    Day 18: Flight: Lukla (2,840m) - Kathmandu (1,310m). Hotel Overnight.
    Day 19: Free day to explore, and enjoy Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight.
    Day 20: Final Departure.
